Ali MacGraw
Ali MacGraw, also known as Elizabeth Alice MacGraw, is an American author and designer who has been awarded numerous prizes for her work. She has been a vocal advocate for animal rights. Her films are Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus ( 1969) and The Getaway ( 1972). New York was her home and she grew up in an artistic environment. While working as an assistant to photographers then she turned her attention to modeling and acting. Her name was highlighted in her first two movies and won the Golden Globe Award for Most promising newcomer. MacGraw's movie Love Story proved a major success and earned her international recognition as well as an Academy Award' nomination and the Golden Globe award. In just three films, MacGraw was declared one of the most successful women film in the history of box offices. In 1972 her hand-footprints and autograph were engraved at Grauman's Chinese Theater. Additionally, to The Getaway Convoy Players she was also in the TV miniseries The Winds of War. Her autobiography, published in 1991 Moving Pictures came out. MacGraw has been married three times.
