Luciana Paoluzzi as well as Maria Rota Paoluzzi were raised in Rome. Luciana Paoluzzi is the daughter of Manlio Paoluzzi (an Italian military officer) and Maria Rota Paoluzzi (a mistress of Benito Mussolini). There are no known siblings. Luciana was a graduate of a high school in the local area in 1955. She then studied naval engineering in Milan in the Scientific Academy of Milan. Luciana was the only female student in the class, was the very first student to complete her studies. Within two years she began her modelling career. Soon after, she got a chance to appear in Three Coins in the Fountain when she was in Rome visiting a close daughter of her father's friend. Brett Halsey was the first person she was married. He is an actor. Following the wedding, in 1960 they made a movie together named Return to the Peyton Palace. They had the birth of a son called Charles born on the 13th of June 1961. They divorced just a year after the birth of Charles and Luciana received custody. Between 1962 and the year 1970 Luciana dated Tony Athony who was an actor and producer. He was inspired by her work in the movie Green Slime and based on the script he wrote as well as this mixed Spaghetti Western for which he was a bit of a hit.
